Already making the ending
This game is going to have multiple endings.
And having no experience with multiple endings, it will take a lot of time and practice to make it the way I want it. Writing the different endings I also want the player to have a nice experience playing the game. The game will be of reasonable length (between 1 to 2 hours) and the idea of letting the player replay the game for a different ending sounds... not like a good experience.
Making an ending where you can decide who to date (given the fact the player has enough points) requires a lot of work with switches, conditional branches and variables. In the end I worked out a strategy where the game will find out which dates have enough points and then asks the player if they want to go out with the specific dates that they can choose. [Do you want to ask name ? --> Y/N]. They can even choose not to ask anyone, which will trigger another ending.
The fact I found out how to do this made me proud. Now it should be tested during the Beta test. But before that happens... I still have to finish the rest of the script. Almost done.
